All Purpose Pesto Ingredients: 2 cloves garlic 2 cups fresh basil leaves (about 2 bunches) 1⁄2 cup fresh parsley leaves 2 Tbsp pine nuts, walnuts, or pecans 1⁄2 cup olive oil 1⁄4 tsp fresh ground pepper. In a blender or food processor, puree garlic cloves. Add basil and parsley and process to a fine chop. Add nuts and also process to a fine chop. With the blades turning, slowly pour in the olive oil. Add pepper and process until well blended, stopping the motor to scrape down the sides as needed. Taste and adjust the seasonings to your liking. Store refrigerated in a tightly covered container for up to 5 days or freeze for later use.
