It seems there are more advertisements every day for a new drug to help with ailments, from cancer to menstrual cramps. I want to start by saying I am not against the use of prescription drugs, but I am against drug misuse and abuse.

Our society has been taught that if something is wrong with our health, we need to take a pill to make ourselves better. I think there is a better way to make us feel great: by building up and maintaining the immune system so we are less likely to get sick. Let’s get educated and create habits that help prevent us from getting sick in the first place.

And in many cases, getting sick may not be such a bad thing. Getting sick is a sign that our immune system has been overloaded and is no longer able to deal with a particular problem in a subclinical manner. What does that mean? In this case, “subclinical” means the body is working on a problem internally, but we experience no obvious symptoms indicating that there is a problem until the immune system gets overloaded and we get sick.

When that happens, it’s much wiser to determine why our body has been unable to deal with the problem subclinically—then we can correct the cause, not just treat the symptoms. For some people, this is a shocking approach. For me, it is the logical, smart, scientific, and natural secret to extreme, great health.
