New research just dropped and it鈥檚 eye-opening.
Scientists compared microplastic exposure to over 150 environmental and socioeconomic factors things like air pollution, phthalates (from perfumes), endocrine disruptors, and VOCs (from paint).
馃挜 The result?
People living near high microplastic zones showed significantly higher rates of chronic illness including high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, and cancer.
That鈥檚 the mic drop. 馃帳
The more microplastics in your environment, the higher your risk for non-communicable diseases the ones you can鈥檛 catch, but can prevent.
馃實 It鈥檚 time to think about what we breathe, drink, and touch because it鈥檚 all connected to our long-term health.
