One of the things it does is help the liver work more efficiently.  It&#8217;s one of the most powerful antioxidants we have.<br \/>\nWhat does an antioxidant do?<br \/>\nSo, there are things called free radicals.  Free radicals attack your body and eat away at your cells.  Antioxidants reduce the damage that the free radicals do&#8230;. many times antioxidants can even shut down the free radicals completely.<br \/>\nIf you can boost your glutathione levels, you improve your oxidative stress and improve your mitochondrial function, which produces energy in the body.<br \/>\nYour body can make glutathione by eating things like cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli and Brussels sprouts.<br \/>\nBut I take a glutathione supplement every day, too, because I want to make sure that my liver is as healthy as possible.
